Podcast 8: Cold Balls

Hey, sweet and sassy knitters! Newest podcast number 8 is up and running.

(I have to apologize right away for any weird smacking sounds I made during the recording of this podcast. I had a little peanut butter (yummy) before the podcast...bad idea...and didn't realize how "smacky" I was as I talked. Please forgive me...if it's REALLY annoying, you can fast forward. Some parts are less bad than others. Ugh!)

Hope you enjoy the podcast despite the annoying sounds I made and remember to send me any stories, jokes, comments or suggestions for the next one.

The topics I talk about include:

-Argyle socks
-Dyeing Fiber
-"The Knitting Circle" book by Ann Hood
-New patterns
-Knitting Bags

PICS:

Helmet Liner (using Cascade 220 Superwash, 1 ball)

(yes, I look like a weiner....just wanted to give you an idea of how it looked done...you can't tell when it's laying down all flat)

Dyed Fibers-

Yarn Haul-

Finished Argyle Sock 1-

The two dyed rovings in the front and right are beautiful. (Especially so, that is.)

You could spin the beaded yarn for that tunic. It would cut down on the cost. I could "show" you how. ;)
Loved the podcast.

Michal the Girl is my cousin! It's nice to see her somewhere associated with knitting! She's a knitter herself and I owe her a baby blanket book...
