I just bound off the NOT-to-be-dropped stitches knotting each edge stitch, and knit the to-be-dropped stitches. So when I dropped, I dropped from the top down.<BR/>Also, I had a limited amount of yarn (I didn't use the called for one) and so I made a scarf not a shawl.<BR/>Curious...
