Your yarn is great! Alexander's favorite color is 'neon'. On my monitor it looks very neon and he said he loved it. Alien invasion is a perfect name. :-)

Wow! That alien invasion is AWESOME!! OMG you just gave me the incentive to finish my Jacqueline. I guess the cable sweater takes the backseat!

Timing is great... I just wound up my Lilacs in Bloom to cast on for the headband... now I have to decide WHICH one, lol.

I just bought the pattern. I'll pull out some stash yarn shortly and get going on it! Fun stuff :)

Fingering weight?? I'm using DK. Was I supposed to be using fingering weight???

Hi Sonya....the dk is okay, too. The pattern has a gauge, but it's not absolutely necessary...it's only a headband.

I had to mark the pattern with whatever weight the Yarn Botanika yarn I used was....it should be fingering/light sport...but I think they think of light sport as DK...it's confusing. As you're going along, why don't you take a measurement and see if it's the width you like?

What yarn did you decide to use?
